OCTOBER MEDIA CENTER ACTIVITY
PUMPKIN BOOK CHARACTER CONTEST
1. Pick a favorite book character.
2. Decorate a pumpkin to look like that character.
3. Bring it into the Media Center by October 27th.
4. Write a short paragraph telling about the character and the book on an index card.
***The index card should include the following information:
Your First and Last Name
Your Homeroom Teacher's Name
The title of the book and the character's name
A short paragraph about your character and the book.
Pumpkins will be judged on October 31st for originality, creativity, neatness, and following directions.
NO CARVED PUMPKINS WILL BE ADMITTED INTO THE CONTEST!!!!
The grand prize winner of the contest will receive a $10.00 movie gift card.
Second and third place winners will receive a candy prize.
